Printer Setup Guide for Mac

  1. Ensure that no printers are selected on the "Advanced Printer Settings" page. This section is only used if you’re physically using multiple printers.

  2. In the Print Server, select the printer you intend to use from the top-left corner. Then, click the gear icon to access and adjust your printer settings.

Note: Make sure to install the printer driver before opening the Print Server.

From the CUPS page, choose the Administration option and choose from that drop down, Set Default Options:

Configuring Printer Options

  1. Go to the "Options" page to adjust your printer settings. Select your paper size and, if printing 2x6 strips, set the cutter accordingly. Once configured, click Set Default Options.

  2. When prompted, enter your computer username and password. These are the credentials you use to log into your computer. If you’re unsure of your username or password, you can find them in the Users section within System Settings on your Mac.
