Our Layout Editor makes it easy to create custom designs for how your photos or videos appear—whether you're printing 2x6 strips, 4x6 postcards with multiple images, or any custom size you need.
What is a Layout?
A layout is a custom canvas that includes one or more image placeholders. Each placeholder will be filled with a photo or video captured during the experience. Layouts determine:
The size of the final output (e.g., 2x6, 4x6, square)
The position of photos or videos on that output
How many photos or videos appear on one design
Layouts are used for printing and/or digital delivery, and they give you full control over the final appearance of your media.
Layout vs. Overlay
It’s important to understand the difference:
Layout = The structure your media fits into (includes the actual photo/video within the layout)
Overlay = A transparent image or design placed on top of the photo or video, like a frame or branding element
Why Use Layouts?
Create photo booth strips, postcards, or custom sizes
Add multiple images to a single design (like a 3-photo collage)
Control spacing, padding, and composition
Combine with overlays for a branded, polished look
