Overview
iPad with an M-chip required. Check if yours is compatible.
Pose and Peel turns your Curator booth into a sticker photo booth. Guests take a photo, pick a style, and get a printed, die-cut sticker. Curator handles everything on one iPad: it prepares the sticker, prints it, and the sticker printer cuts it out automatically. As long as you're using a supported sticker printer, Curator knows how to print and cut each sticker based on the type of sticker your experience is set up for.
What You Need
Any Curator plan. Sticker printing is in early access and included at no extra cost.
An iPad with an M-chip, connected directly to the printer with a USB cable (USB Direct printing)
A supported sticker printer and 4x7 sticker sheets. We help you choose and set up the printer on your demo call.
The Sticker Sheet: 4x7
Every sticker prints on a 4x7 sticker sheet. A sheet can be:
One big sticker, or
A full sheet of smaller stickers
How the sheet is laid out depends on how your sticker experience is designed. See Designing Sticker Experiences and Cut Shapes.
AI Stickers and Photo Stickers
Stickers can be made two ways:
AI stickers: the guest's photo is turned into a sticker style, like a holiday caricature. You can use ready-made sticker styles or create your own sticker AI prompts. AI stickers use your regular Curator AI credits, which need an Event Pro or Agency Pro plan.
Photo stickers: a regular photo, no AI. Curator detects the people in the photo, lifts them out of the background, and the printer cuts along their outline. Photo stickers don't use AI credits and work on any plan.
Cut Shapes
Outline cut (default): the printer cuts around each person's outline.
Circle or square cut: if the whole scene is set inside a circle or square in your sticker design, the printer cuts that shape instead.
How Long It Takes
Printing and cutting are fully automated on a single device:
Printing: up to about 40 seconds
Cutting: about 1 minute to 1 minute 20 seconds more
Total: on average 1 minute 45 seconds to 2 minutes per sheet, per printer
đĄ For large events, we recommend at least two sticker printers. Curator spreads the stickers across your printers so guests wait less.
Using More Than One Printer
You can connect several printers to one iPad through a USB hub:
Two or more sticker printers to print stickers faster
A regular photo printer too, for example a DNP 620, for standard photo prints
Curator routes each job automatically: stickers go to the sticker printers, and photos go to the photo printer. You don't need to choose a printer at the event.
Sticker Experiences
An event can have one sticker experience or several. For example, one experience for holiday AI stickers and another for classic photo stickers. Each experience can use its own sticker AI prompts.
