To help you easily identify and manage your devices, Curator Live allows you to set a custom name for each device directly within the app. This name appears in your Device List on the Curator website and is especially useful for keeping track of which device is running which event.
Steps to Change the Device Name
Open the Curator Live app and log into your account.
On the Event List page, look at the bottom of the screen.
You’ll see the current device name just above the menu bar, along with a pencil icon ✏️.
Tap the pencil icon to rename the device.
Enter your preferred device name — anything that helps you easily identify it (e.g., “iPad Pro – Main Booth” or “360 Cam Setup”).
Press Save.
The image above shows where to find and edit your device name on the Event List screen.
Important Notes:
After renaming the device, you’ll need to re-download any event before running it again. This ensures the app properly resets with the new device name.
You can change the device name at any time using the same steps above.
Each new install of the Curator Live app automatically generates a unique default name for the device.
All device names — whether default or custom — are visible in the Device List section of your account on the Curator website.
By customizing your device names, you'll have a much easier time managing multiple setups, booths, and locations across your events.
