Event Code Login

Use a unique EVENT CODE to login to the app and run a specific event. This is a great for white-label boothers or pick-up booth users.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Event Code Login feature in Curator is a simple yet powerful tool designed to make it easier to activate and run specific events—whether you're setting up a white-label experience in another city, preparing a permanent install, or managing a pickup-and-delivery-style photo booth.

What Is an Event Code Login?

At the bottom of Page One of your event setup (Pro events only), you’ll find the option to generate an Event Code Login. This is a uniquely generated code that ties directly to the event you're creating. When you generate this code, you can copy and send it to the person responsible for running the event.

Once they enter this event code on the app’s login screen, the app will automatically download and load the specific event tied to that code on that device. This allows the event to run without requiring full account access or manual configuration.

Use Cases

Here are a few scenarios where Event Code Login is especially useful:

  • White-label events: Perfect for when you need a team in another city or state to activate an event for your brand or client.

  • Permanent installs: Ideal for long-term setups where the device stays on-site, and events need to be swapped remotely.

  • Pickup and delivery photo booth setups: Makes it easy to send preloaded booths to clients with everything ready to go—just enter the code to start.

How to Generate an Event Code

  1. Go to Page One of your event setup.

  2. Scroll to the bottom.

  3. Click "Generate Event Code".

  4. Copy the code and provide it to the person setting up the booth.

How to Use the Event Code in the App

  1. Open the Curator app.

  2. Tap “Login with Event Code” at the bottom of the login screen.

  3. Enter the provided code.

  4. The app will download and load the specific event.

Works Great with Kiosk Mode

Event Code Login pairs perfectly with Kiosk Mode (link to your Kiosk Mode article). This combination allows you to deploy a fully branded, controlled experience without requiring users to manage or edit anything on the app.
