Manage Your Device Licenses (Curator Live)

At a glance: One active license powers one device at a time. You can free a license from one device and use it on another, or buy additional licenses if you run multiple booths simultaneously.

Quick Steps

  1. Go to Tools
From your Curator dashboard (website), click Tools.

  2. Find Your Licenses
In the middle of the page, look for the License(s) section. You’ll see your devices listed.

  3. Unassign a License (free it up)

    • Click the iPad-with-a-slash icon next to the device you want to free.

    • That device’s license becomes available to use on another device.

  4. Use the License on a New Device

    • Sign in to Curator on the new iPad/device.

    • Start your event—Curator will use the available license.

  5. Add More Licenses (if needed)

    • On the same License(s) section, click Purchase License.

    • Choose how many you need and confirm.

    • Use this when you’re running more than one booth at the same time.

Tips & FAQs

  • Do I need extra licenses for multiple booths?
Yes. Each simultaneous booth/device needs its own license.

  • I don’t see changes on the page.
Refresh the Tools page. If it still looks the same, sign out/in on the website.

  • The new device isn’t picking up the license.
Make sure you successfully unassigned it first (see Step 3), then sign in on the new device and open your event.

  • Not sure which device is which?
Open the Curator app on the iPad and go to the Dashboard. At the bottom you’ll see iOS version, App version, and Device Name. Use the Device Name to match the iPad to what you see under Tools → License(s) on the website.
