How to Create and Upload a Custom Share Button Asset
Follow these steps to create an animated Share Button in Canva, convert it to APNG format, and upload it to Curator Live.
Step 1: Create a New Design in Canva
Go to Canva.
Click Create.
Select Custom Size.
Enter the standard dimensions:
-Width: 600 px
-Height: 600 pxClick Create New Design.
Step 2: Create the Button Shape
Click Elements on the left-hand menu.
In the search bar, type Circle or Square, depending on the button shape you want.
Select your preferred shape.
Resize and position the shape on the canvas.
Change the button to your desired color.
You can also add graphics or icons:
Go to Elements.
Search for the graphic or icon you want.
Select and add it to your design.
Adjust its size and position as needed.
Step 3: Add Text to the Button
Click Text.
Select Add a Heading.
Type the text you want displayed on your button.
Customize the text by adjusting:
Font: Choose from Canva's available fonts or search for a specific font.
Color: Select your preferred text color.
Size: Adjust the font size to fit the button.
Orientation/Position: Place and align the text as desired.
Step 4: Animate the Button
Select the button element or the element you want to animate.
Click Animate.
Choose your preferred animation effect.
Adjust the animation intensity or settings based on your preference.
Preview the animation to make sure it looks the way you want.
Step 5: Download the Button as a GIF
Once you are satisfied with your design, click Share in the upper-right corner.
Click Download.
Under File Type, select GIF.
Click Download.
Wait for the GIF file to finish downloading.
Step 6: Convert the GIF to APNG
Go to EZGIF's GIF to APNG converter: EZGIF – GIF to APNG
Click Choose File.
Select the GIF file you downloaded from Canva.
Click Upload.
Step 7: Convert and Save the APNG
Once the GIF has been uploaded, click Convert to APNG.
Wait for the conversion to finish.
Click Save to download the converted APNG file.
The APNG file will automatically download to your computer.
Step 8: Upload the Button to Curator Live
Locate the newly downloaded APNG file on your computer.
Go to your Curator Live account.
Navigate to the area where you can upload your Share Button Asset.
Upload the APNG file.
Your custom animated Share Button is now ready to use.
Quick Workflow
Canva → Create 600 × 600 design → Design button → Add text → Animate → Download as GIF → Convert GIF to APNG → Save APNG → Upload to Curator Live
