If you're using a custom (vanity) domain with Curator Live (e.g., photos.yourevent.com
), you’ll need to set up proper DNS records to ensure that emails sent from your event (such as photo or video delivery) don’t get marked as spam. This setup also allows emails to come from your custom domain instead of a default sender.
Here’s how to complete the email setup for your vanity URL.
✅ Step 1: Add Your Vanity URL in Curator Live
Log in to your Curator Live account.
Go to Settings > Custom Domains.
Add your desired email domain (e.g.,
yourevent.com
).
Submit the form to generate the required DNS records.
🛠 Step 2: Update Your DNS Records
Once submitted, Curator Live will provide the DNS records you’ll need to add to your domain provider (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare).
These typically include:
CNAME records for domain verification and email sending
⚠️ Important: These records must be added to your DNS host (the company where your domain’s DNS is managed—not always where you bought your domain).
⏳ Step 3: Wait for Verification
After you’ve added the records:
It can take up to 24-48 hours for DNS propagation.
Curator Live will automatically verify your records.
Once verified, your emails will begin sending from your custom domain email address (e.g.,
noreply@yourevent.com
).
