AirCast Pro Setup Instructions

Integrating the Curator App with the AirCast Pro enables seamless wireless or wired printing for your events.

What You’ll Need:

  • AirCast Pro device

  • Compatible dye-sublimation printer

  • iPad with the Curator App installed

  • Stable Wi-Fi network

Step 1: Power On the AirCast Pro

  1. Plug in the AirCast Pro. It will power on automatically, and a green light will appear after a few seconds.


Step 2: Connect Your iPad to the AirCast Pro Wi-Fi

  1. On your iPad, open Settings > Wi-Fi.

  2. Select the network named AirCastPro.

  3. Enter the default password: aircastpro.

If you don’t see the network, toggle your Wi-Fi off and back on to refresh the list.


Step 3: Access the AirCast Pro Configuration Page

  1. Open Safari or any web browser on your iPad.

  2. In the address bar, type: http://192.168.4.1

  3. Wait for the AirCast Pro’s configuration dashboard to load.


Step 4: (Optional) Connect the AirCast Pro to an External Wi-Fi Network

If you want your iPad to have internet access while using the printer:

  1. Tap the Wi-Fi icon in the top left of the AirCast Pro interface.

  2. Choose your preferred external Wi-Fi network from the list.

  3. Enter the password and connect.


Step 5: Connect Your Printer

  1. Plug your printer’s USB cable into the AirCast Pro.

  2. Turn on your printer.

  3. The AirCast Pro will auto-detect the printer.


Step 6: Set Up Printing in the Curator App

  1. Open the Curator App on your iPad.

  2. Go to the event you'd like to configure.

  3. Tap Printing Settings.

  4. Choose AirPrint as the print method.

  5. Select the correct AirCast Pro printer profile (e.g., “4x6 Standard”).


Step 7: Test the Setup

  1. Run a test print from within the Curator App.

  2. Confirm that the photo is sent wirelessly to the printer.

  3. If successful, you're good to go!


Troubleshooting Tips:

  • Double-check that your iPad and AirCast Pro are on the same Wi-Fi network.

  • If the printer doesn’t show up, make sure the USB cable is secure and the printer is powered on.

  • Restart both the AirCast Pro and the printer if issues persist.
