Photography mode requires app version 1.1.21.

What is Photography Mode?

Photography Mode is a function within the Curator app and platform that enables photographers to capture high-quality images and efficiently manage their delivery. The photos taken within this mode are automatically displayed inside the Curator Live App, allowing users to:

  • Select a single photo to share via text, email, print or QR code sharing methods.

  • Use facial recognition technology to group photos belonging to an individual. (facial recognition feature needs to be added)

  • Provide guests with a personalized collection of their event photos through a secure link.

  • Print photos using the Curator Wireless Print Server

This innovative mode simplifies the photo-sharing process, ensuring a seamless experience for both photographers and event attendees.

*You do not need to enable facial recognition to capture, print or share. Facial recognition is only needed if you want to deliver personalized photo collections

Setting Up Photography Mode

To activate and use Photography Mode, follow these steps by either adding a photographer mode experiences to an event or creating one from scratch:

  1. On Page 3 in the form, Select Photographer Selection
At the top of Page 3, choose Photographer Selection and add up to six photographer experiences. Each experience can have a unique landscape and portrait overlay/watermark.

  2. Configure Overlays on Page 4
Once the photographer experiences are set up, go to Page 4 and upload a landscape overlay/watermark for each experience. Additionally, you can configure experience settings, such as enabling PRINT.

  3. Download and Run the App
After completing the setup, download and launch the Curator app. The app will now run in Photography Mode, allowing for seamless event photography and sharing.

Viewing Collections in Your Event VIEW Page (Platform)

Once a collection is created, it can be viewed as a specific collection. The system provides a personalized link to access the gallery:

  • View the photo collection linked to the event.

  • Edit the collection to adjust photos.

  • Delete the collection if necessary.

  • The personalized link ensures each guest has control over their event photos and allows seamless access to their gallery.
