How to Test an Event in the Curator Live App

Testing an event in the Curator Live app is simple and important to ensure everything is working before your event goes live.

Steps to Test Your Event

  1. Create Your Event on the Website
Before testing, make sure your event is fully set up and created on the Curator Live website.

  2. Log into the Curator Live App
Open the app and log in using your account credentials.

  3. Download Your Event
If your event is already created, it will automatically appear in the app. Tap to download the event you’d like to test.

  4. Check Event Status
Make sure your event status is green and active in the app. This means it's ready to go.

Important Notes About Demo Watermarks

  • Unpaid or Inactive Events:
Any photos taken before an event's start date, after its end date, or without payment will include a demo watermark.

  • Demo Watermarks Are Permanent:
These watermarks cannot be removed under any circumstances, as they are applied at the time of capture.

  • Activate Your Event Before the Start Date:
Ensure your event is paid for and activated before the event begins. After payment, refresh the event in the app to remove demo watermarks.

  • Testing Events Without Payment:
You can test any event without paying, but all photos will include a demo watermark until the event is paid and refreshed. Again, paying for an event AFTER it has taken place does NOT remove any watermarks.

Best Practices

  • Always refresh the event in the app after making a payment.

  • Stop immediately if you see demo watermarks during an active event—double-check your event status and payment.

  • Have your team verify the event is active and working correctly before guests start using the system.

Whether you're on a single event plan or a monthly/yearly subscription, the testing process remains the same.
