How to Delete Images from Your Device and the Online Gallery

Delete photos and videos for your event in the Curator App as well as online for your event.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

There are two places where photos from your event may be stored:

  1. On your device (inside the Curator Live app’s queue)

  2. On the Curator Live online gallery (under your event's View page)

It’s important to understand that deleting a photo from the app does not delete it from the online gallery, and vice versa.

Deleting Photos from the Device Queue

Photos captured during an event are saved to the app’s internal queue. These can only be deleted directly from the device.

To delete from the queue:

  • Open the app and go to the Queue tab.

  • Tap on an individual photo and press Delete, or

  • Tap the Delete Queue button to remove all queued items at once.

⚠️ Note: Deleting from the queue will not affect photos already uploaded or sent. Once photos and videos are deleted from the queue they cannot be recovered.

Deleting Photos from the Online Gallery

If a photo has already uploaded to the Curator Live platform, you’ll need to delete it from the event’s View page on the website.

To do this:

  • Go to your event’s View page online.

  • Click the Delete icon on an individual photo or

  • Use the multi-select tool to select and delete multiple photos or videos at once.

🗑️ Important: Once a photo is deleted from the online gallery, it cannot be recovered.

Important Notes Before Deleting

  • Make sure images have been uploaded or saved to your device before deleting.

  • Photos do not automatically save to your device unless:

    • You’ve enabled Save to Camera Roll (found on Page 6 of the event settings).

    • You’ve granted the app full camera and photo access during installation.

If permissions were denied during app setup, the app will be unable to save images locally.
