What Is the Queue?
The Curator Live app includes an internal queue system that stores captured photos, videos, uploads, and sharing requests within the app.
By default, captures are saved to the queue even if the internet connection is slow or unavailable. Once the device reconnects to the internet, queued items will automatically continue uploading and sending.
ℹ️ The queue is device-based, meaning captures remain stored on the same iPad until they are deleted from the queue.
ℹ️ Save Images to Queue must remain enabled in the event settings to allow captures to be saved to the app queue. This setting can be found on Page 6 of the Event Form.
Why Queue Management Matters
Proper queue management helps keep the app running smoothly during and after events.
We recommend starting each new event with a clean queue to avoid:
low device storage
slow performance
failed uploads or sharing
photos from previous events remaining on the device
⚠️ Large queues may affect app performance and can cause photos from previous events to be sent unintentionally during future events.
Accessing the Queue
The queue can be accessed from the Queue tab on the app dashboard or from the Hidden Menu while inside a running event.
To access the Hidden Menu, double-tap the top-right corner of the screen.

Queue Status Indicators
Queue items display different color indicators to show their current status.
🟥 Red - Unsent
🟨 Yellow - Sending
🟩 Green - Sent
🟦 Blue - Imported
ℹ️ Blue imported items are commonly AI-generated images imported back into the app queue using Cloud Import.

What You Can Do From the Queue
From the queue, you can:
view captured photos and videos
monitor upload progress
resend unsent captures
delete individual queue items
clear the full queue
save media to the device Camera Roll
💡 If Gallery Experience is enabled, imported AI-generated images can also appear inside the gallery.

Queue Behavior During Offline Events
If the internet connection becomes unavailable during an event, captures will remain safely stored in the queue until the device reconnects.
Once internet access is restored, queued uploads and sharing requests will automatically continue sending.
⚠️ Do not close the app while the queue is actively sending uploads, as uploads may be interrupted.
Deleting Queue Items
Queue items stored on the device can be deleted individually or cleared entirely using Delete Queue.
⚠️ Deleting queue items does not remove photos already uploaded to the Curator Live online gallery.
⚠️ Deleted queue items cannot be recovered.
💡 Best Practices
start events with a clean queue
confirm uploads complete before deleting queue items
maintain available storage space on the device
test uploads before going live
keep the app open while uploads are sending
back up important event media before clearing the queue
