ℹ️ After purchasing an event, subscription, or making changes to an event, you must redownload the event in the Curator Live app to sync the latest updates and activation status.
Steps to Activate Your Event
Follow these steps to sync activation and start your event:
1. Open the Curator Live app
Launch the Curator Live app on your device.
2. Tap the Cloud icon
Locate your event, then tap the cloud icon to redownload it and sync the latest activation status.
3. Tap Play to Start
Once downloaded, tap Play, then choose Photo Booth to start your event.
💡 Paid events appear in green. Redownloading the event updates your activation status and removes DEMO watermarks from new captures.

ℹ️ DEMO Watermark
If the event is not redownloaded after purchase, captured photos will continue displaying a DEMO watermark until the event activation is updated on the device.
What to do: Redownload the event to sync activation.
ℹ️ Pre-Event Activated
“PRE-EVENT ACTIVATED” means the event has been successfully downloaded and is ready for its scheduled start date.
✅ Event Active
Once the event start date is reached, newly captured photos will no longer contain watermarks.
⚠️ Incorrect Start Date
An incorrect event start date will cause watermarks to persist.
What to do: Contact support via chat to adjust the dates, then redownload the event to remove the watermark.
Common Watermark Issues
Persistent watermarks may be caused by:
incorrect event dates
an outdated app version
the event not being properly downloaded or synced

confirming the event dates are correct
updating the app to the latest version
redownloading the event and ensuring the download completes successfully
⚠️ Watermarks cannot be removed from photos captured before the issue is resolved.
