APP - How to Download and Start Your Event After Purchase

Learn how to download and activate your purchased event within the Curator Live app.

ℹ️ After purchasing an event or subscription, you must redownload the event on your device to fully activate it.


Steps to Activate Your Event

Follow these steps to sync activation and start your event:

  1. Open the Curator Live app.

  2. Locate your paid event (shown in green) and tap the cloud icon to redownload it.

  3. Once downloaded, tap Play to start the event.

💡 Paid events appear in green. Redownloading syncs activation and removes watermarks.


Watermark Information

ℹ️ Demo Watermark

If the event is not redownloaded after purchase, captured photos will continue displaying a DEMO watermark until activation is synced.

ℹ️ Pre-Event Activated

“PRE-EVENT ACTIVATED” means the event has been downloaded successfully and is ready for a future start date. The watermark will automatically disappear once the event start date begins.

Once the event start date begins, new captures will automatically be watermark-free.

ℹ️ An incorrect event start date may cause demo watermarks to persist. Contact support via chat to adjust the dates, then redownload the event to remove the watermark.


Common Watermark Issues

Persistent watermarks may be caused by:

  • outdated app versions

  • incorrect event dates

  • failed event downloads

  • incomplete activation sync

🛠️ Most issues can often be resolved by:

  • redownloading the event

  • confirming event dates are correct

  • updating the app to the latest version

  • ensuring the event download completes successfully

⚠️ Watermarks cannot be removed from photos captured before the issue was resolved.


Important Notes

  • Changes made to the event online require the event to be redownloaded in the app.

  • Always confirm the event downloads successfully before starting the booth.

  • If watermark issues continue after troubleshooting, contact support via chat for assistance.
