📊 Understanding Your Event Analytics

Our platform provides a comprehensive analytics dashboard that gives you real-time insights into how your event performed. Here’s a breakdown of each key data point and what it means for you:

📸 Total Photos

Definition: The total number of photo sessions or captures taken during the event.

Use Case: A direct indicator of guest interaction. The higher this number, the more your guests are engaging with the photo booth or experience.

👀 Total Views

Definition: The total number of times media content (photos or videos) has been viewed by guests.

Use Case: Useful for measuring how many people actually viewed the captured content. This includes direct views from text links or microsites.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Faces Detected

Definition: The total number of individual faces detected in photos and videos.

Use Case: Helps estimate actual guest participation. This number can be skewed depending on the iOS devices ability to recognize a human.

📢 Impressions

Definition: An estimate of the total number of times your event content has been displayed across various platforms, including social media shares and SMS link opens. In this case we use VIEWS x 1000 as that is the average based on prior years data.

A basic way to think about impressions is that, on average, about 35% of a person’s social media connections will see what they share. So, if someone with 100 friends shares a post, it’s likely that around 35 people will view it. In most cases poeoo

Use Case: Valuable for understanding the viral reach of your event. High impressions often mean your content is being shared or revisited.

🌐 Source Views

Definition: Where your traffic came from—such as SMS, direct links, Facebook, or other sources.

Use Case: Know which channels are most effective for delivering content. If SMS is dominant, it's a sign that mobile delivery is key to your strategy.

🔗 Page / Source Views

Definition: Shows how many views came from each delivery method (e.g., Microsite vs. SMS).

Use Case: Helps you understand user behavior—whether they engage more with direct links or browse your hosted microsite.

📄 Page Views

Definition: Displays which platform page(s) your audience spent time on, such as a microsite or gallery.

Use Case: Reveals where users are interacting most, guiding future content and layout decisions.

🖼️ Photo Types

Definition: Breakdown of captured content by media type (images vs. videos).

Use Case: Understand what your audience is creating. If you're only seeing photos, it might be time to introduce or promote video experiences.

📧 Data Capture

Definition: The number of email addresses and/or phone numbers collected during the event.

Use Case: Important for marketing follow-up. More data means better post-event engagement opportunities.

🔄 Shares

Definition: Number of times content has been shared or downloaded.

Use Case: This is your word-of-mouth metric. Downloads and shares indicate guest excitement and organic promotion.

⭐ Popular Photos

Definition: The number of photos that received engagement through views, shares, or downloads.

Use Case: Helps identify which moments stood out and which content resonated most with your audience.

🧠 Tip:

Use these metrics not just to report on event success, but to optimize future activations, improve user flow, and identify high-performing content formats.
